- Confirm the add-on is installed and you are signed into the right Google account.

- Make sure the cell contains a full URL (not a file ID or partial link).
- For Drive files, set sharing to “Anyone with the link” or use Upload/Download Files to generate working URLs.

“The data is too large”
- Pass a smaller range (fewer rows or columns).
- Move large text into helper cells and summarize in stages.
- If you are on the free plan, the maximum input size is smaller than paid plans.
“This task took longer than usual” or “Exceeded maximum execution time”
- Shorten the prompt or add a length limit like “Keep the response under 100 words.”
- Turn Smarter off in Custom instruction and cache.
- Try running fewer rows at a time, then save results with Save formula output.
“Google Sheets daily limit reached”
- This is a Google Apps Script quota that usually resets within 24 hours.

“Permission has not been granted to this add-on”
- Re-open the add-on and accept the permission prompt if you see it.
- If you are using a work account, ask your admin to allow required permissions and Marketplace apps.
- If it persists, email support@simplemetrics.xyz with a screenshot of the error.
“Monthly usage limit exceeded”
- Open Extensions → AI for Sheets → Upgrade Account to refresh your plan and usage.
- You can upgrade, wait until your usage resets, or use the “Get Free Usages” option if available.
